I am compelled today to thank you for your services and pay a long-overdue compliment. The kindness and compassion of your staff, from the front office to the technicians is matched only by their professionalism and is much appreciated. Additionally, your gentle competence and patient-side manner is as reassuring as it is impressive. While I may not be overly enthusiastic about needing future appointments, I am grateful to have such a wonderful provider. Lake Ridge Dental is undoubtedly a tribute to excellence in modern, comfortable dental care and treatment.

Yesterday I had a root canal done by Dr. G(utierrez) at this practice. She and her staff are absolutely fantastic and I am singing her/their praises to all my colleagues.
I had a tooth extraction and deep cleaning a few weeks ago and, with "laughing gas" felt no pain and was totally comfortable.
I have always been terrified of dentists (particularly female dentists because of horrendous childhood experiences), but Dr. G makes you feel so comfortable (and medication is available to calm you down) that the experience was, if not pleasant, as good as a root canal could ever be. Today I have only a minor dull ache that says something was done! I hope to keep her as my dentist for many years to come. I cannot praise her and her staff enough. The practice is state-of-the-art, the office is comfortable and welcoming. In addition, unlike my doctor's office, parking is an absolute breeze and they are on the ground floor!I was referred to Doctor Guiterez (Dr. G), and as soon as I entered the clinic I was greeted warmly by the staff who I had earlier spoken to on the phone. The staff there are very professional and provide information on what to expect during my visit and after I leave. I would definitely recommend Dr. G and her staff to anyone who seeks a painless, knowledgeable and professional experience, as I have chosen her as my primary dentist.
This is the best dental practice in the surrounding Virginia area.! My family and I travel 1 hour to get here since we moved because comparable care is just not available. The Doctors continually stay on top of all the latest technology through continuing education and the staff is kind , gentle, and always there to answer any question. It is clean, professional, and up to date. I really can't say enough; you will just have to see for yourself!
I recently moved into the area and was a bit worried about finding a good dentist, but was referred to this place. I had called ahead of time for an appointment and when I arrived not only was the staff welcoming, but they treated me as if I had been long-time friends with them!
The place is very clean, has state-of-the art technology (they showed a 3D-scan of my teeth, something my old Dentist didn't have), and at the risk of repeating myself, had a wonderful staff and humble Doctor.
I highly recommend this place, especially for those who get a bit uptight about visiting the dentist, like me.

After not having been to the dentist for over a year, I was a little bit apprehensive going to a new place. The initial booking process was very easy - I submitted the form as a new patient online, printed out their new patient documents, and received a call the next day to schedule an appointment. I was able to schedule a time that was convenient for me within a reasonable time frame (the same week - didn't have to wait a long time to get in to see the dentist).

I went in last Friday for a new patient exam, and then back again this morning for a cleaning. (I mistakenly thought that the new patient exam included a cleaning.)

Description of Experience: I have used Dr. Tarpley for a number of years in the following capacity teeth cleaning, crowns, and mouth guard. While the date of my last visit was in January 2011 and was only a cleaning, I wanted to write her and the practice up especially for the work they have done on my mouth over the many years! I used to be in the military full time, and while I was in the military and stationed all over the world I had military dentists. While I'm greatful for my time in the service, I can't say that I've had the most stellar medical care. And my dental experience, while never terrible, just wasn't anything to write home about. They basically kept my teeth in my head and drilled out my cavities when required. But hey, it is what it is.

Follow-up appt with Dr Tarpley to repair the crown on the tooth and make mold for bite guard. Dr. Tarpley and entire staff are professional, friendly, and efficient. A pleasure to have as my dental provider. UPDATE I had to cancel an appointment due to a death in the family, meaning an out-of-town trip. When I returned, there was a condolence card in the mail from Dr Tarpley & staff. Very sweet & caring gesture! |
